Health and well-being promotion among different segments of society has become a major concern in contemporary societies. Accordingly, this study aimed to identify the key drivers influencing good governance in the Sport for All Federation for the development of health and well-being. The study was applied in terms of purpose and employed an interpretive-analytical approach within the field of futures studies, using STEEP(V) trend analysis framework. The study population consisted of 14 experts in the qualitative phase and 25 experts in the quantitative phase, including experts and policy actors in health and well-being in Iranian sport who were familiar with the conditions and activities of the Sport for All Federation. Data were collected through interviews and expert deliberation sessions. Experts were selected using snowball sampling in the qualitative phase and purposive sampling in the quantitative phase. The findings identified 17 key drivers at the national level, including six social, two technological, three economic, four political and governance, and two environmental drivers. Prioritization of the identified dimensions based on their degree of influence showed that economic drivers, with a mean score of 3.90, ranked first, followed by political and governance drivers (3.88), socio-cultural drivers (3.81), technological drivers (3.79), and environmental drivers (3.76). At the individual level, development monitoring and measurement, cultural advocacy, and elimination of economic patronage were among the most influential drivers. Overall, the findings indicate that achieving good governance in the Sport for All Federation requires simultaneous attention to internal organizational capacities and broader environmental forces affecting health development.
