The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of the media in the development of the physical domain of the Iranian education system. The research employs a qualitative methodology with a thematic approach. The statistical population consists of two segments of human resources (professors, educational managers, trustees of the education system, physical education teachers, and school managers) as well as information sources (books, articles, documents, and media). Sampling was conducted in a sufficient quantity using a judgmental method aimed at achieving theoretical saturation (19 participants). Research tools included systematic library study and structured exploratory interviews. The validity of these tools was assessed and confirmed based on legal and scientific standards, expert opinions, and consensus among reviewers. For data analysis, a multi-stage conceptual coding method was utilized, employing a systemic analysis approach. The findings reveal four core codes that characterize the role of the media in the development of the physical domain of Iran's education system: the educational role (pertaining to students, teachers, and trainers), the motivational role, the functional role (related to leisure time and lifestyle), and the communication role (encompassing individual, organizational, and informational aspects). Given the fundamental role of media in enhancing physical education, it is imperative to leverage media, particularly the educational network for students (SHAD), and align it with practical lessons, including physical education.
